This article explains how to activate a RoamLink eSIM on a Netgear eSIM hotspot device.



Action


First, you will need to connect to another internet source to upload the eSIM profile. It prefers Wi-Fi - what they call the "Wi-Fi Offload" feature.


When you have connected to that WiFi source to facilitate the upload, you are ready to activate. You will need to gather the code from your RoamLink plan. It will look something like this:


LPA:1$wbg.prod.ondemandconnectivity.com$AA!AAAAA11AA1111

The letters and numbers represented as AA!AAAAA11AA1111 above will be your unique activation code. In the activation screen, you will enter the following:


SM-DP+ Address: wbg.prod.ondemandconnectivity.com

Activation Code: AA1AAAAA11AA1111 (yours will be a unique string of letters and numbers from your roamLink activation code)


This is how to navigate to the screen where you will enter this:


Click on "My SIMs":



In the next screen, click on the + symbol at the top right:



In the next screen, click on "Enter Details Manually":



NOTE: The QR code method will not work, even if you have a QR code for you RoamLink eSIM.


In the next screen, you will enter the information listed earlier in this article in the corresponding fields (Leave Confirmation Code field blank):



That's it! Just continue through activation and your RoamLink eSIM will be activated on your hotspot! Activation should take 1-2 minutes before you will see your RoamLink SIM as one of the options on your home screen.
