Scheduling AP WiFi Downtime
Below are the instructions for scheduling WiFi AP downtime. An example use case for this would be turning off the WiFi for certain devices at certain times of the day, for parental controls for example. Being able to schedule times when your connections are active can be very useful depending on your needs.
Before begining the steps below, you will need to access your Peplink's admin panel. If you have forgotten how to do this, please ensure that you are following this guide here.
Step 1:
Once you are logged into your Peplink admin panel, click the System Tab at the top of your dashboard, followed by the Schedule button in the Left Menu.
You will then click 'New Schedule' as shown above.
Step 2:
Here you will be able to set your schedule depending on your needs. It even has a standard workweek option as indicated in the photo below.
From this window, you will Name and select your schedule.
Set the Schedule to 'Always on' and make sure to click "Save" when completed.
Step 3:
After the schedule has been made, you will need to assign it to the connection of your choice.
To do this, you will click the AP tab at the top of your dashboard followed by Wireless SSID in the left menu.
Next, click on the SSID in question and toggle the schedule tab to the Schedule you just created (screenshot below)
Make sure to Save & Apply your changes once complete.
