• Peplink routers - devices may have slightly different screenshots, but the concept is identical on how to apply a license. 

Summary

Optional license keys are available for certain Peplink models, including Speedfusion licensing as well as WiFi as WAN licenses and other licenses that allow you to access advanced features. To activate these licenses, follow the steps in this article. 

Obtaining License

Before applying the license, you must first purchase the license. To purchase visit MobileMustHave.com and enter your serial number at checkout. Your serial number is printed on the bottom of the device on the manufacturer's sticker. You can also access the serial number on the admin console under the status tab. See screenshot below. 

Once you have your serial number search, MobileMustHave.com for the license product you need. Enter your serial number at checkout. If you are uncertain which license you need, contact us at MobileMustHave.com. 

License Key

After your purchase, the license request will be submitted to Peplink. All Peplink licenses are applied automatically to your router within 24 hours. 

In some cases, you may have to apply the license key manually. This is mainly due to a poor or non-existent internet connection when Peplink attempts to apply the license. In these situations, the license key will be relayed to you via email. The code will be a long string of letters and numbers similar to the one below. 

Applying License

Highlight the entire license key and copy the license key to your clipboard using the cut and paste feature on your computer.

Make sure you are connected to your Peplink device either with an Ethernet cord connected to the LAN port of the Peplink or by connecting to the Peplink WiFi. Access your Peplink Admin Console by opening a web browser and entering http://192.168.50.1 into the address bar. Click the System Tab at the top of the admin panel. Then click on Feature Add-ons sub-menu on the left. Enter your serial number using the paste command (CTRL+ V) or right mouse click in the dialog box and press Paste. Then click Activate. See Screenshot below. Note: license application will cause the system to reboot. 

Reboot

Your unit will automatically reboot. Wait 1-2 minutes and for SOLID green lights to appear on the Status light of your Peplink. Then you can access the admin page again and your requested features will be unlocked as the license key has been applied.
